Peacemaker is an American television series created by James Gunn and scheduled to air on January 13, 2022, on the HBO Max service.
The first television series in the DC Cinematic Universe, it centers on the Peacemaker, a character from the publisher DC Comics whose cinematic version was introduced in 2021 in the film The Suicide Squad. Chronologically, it takes place after the events of the film.
Left for dead after his confrontation with Bloodsport during their mission on the island of Corto Maltese with Task Force X, Christopher Smith, aka the Peacemaker, actually survived. He is found by Amanda Waller's team in order to entrust him with new missions.
