The Redeemer is considered the Anti-Darkspawn, the celestial equivalent of the Hellspawn. A powerful religious warrior imbued with celestial matter and purpose, destined to become a loyal and enduring warrior of God. A mysterious organization, the Ethereal Masters, has chosen worthy mortals to be the Redeemer's host and transform into angelic warriors to battle Hell. Unfortunately, the Redeemer is usually unaware of their mortal lives, even if they return to the mortal world. However, the current Redeemer, Eddie Frank, not only retained his memories, but, fueled by his rage against the Hellspawn, he became the most powerful Redeemer to date.
