Peacemaker is an American television series created by James Gunn which is scheduled to air on January 13, 2022 on the HBO Max service.

The first television series in the DC Cinematic Universe, it centers on the Peacemaker, a character from publisher DC Comics whose theatrical version was introduced in 2021 in the movie The Suicide Squad. Chronologically, it takes place after the events of the film.

Left for dead after his confrontation with Bloodsport during their mission to Corto Maltese Island with Task Force X, Christopher Smith, aka the Peacemaker, actually survived. He is found by Amanda Waller's team in order to entrust him with new missions.
