In true Disney fashion, she is "rescued" from this life by Prince Charming.

However, before Prince Charming falls for Cinderella, she receives a visit from her Fairy Godmother, who restores her hope. After her wicked stepsisters ruin her pink dress, the Fairy Godmother transforms the remaining rags into a stunning blue gown for the ball.
