Collection: Banpresto

A little history doesn't hurt. Banpresto was founded as Hoei Sangyo, Co. Ltd. in April 1977.

It underwent a few name changes, working as a subcontractor for Sega arcade games under the name Coreland in the 1980s.

Parts of the company were acquired by Bandai in 1989 when the company acquired its current name. In March 2006, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Namco Bandai.
